Storyline

      For generations the Sooryavansh family has ruled the communities and it's people justly and fairly. This generation is headed by Thakur Bhanupratap Singh (Amitabh Bachchan). He has 3 sons, the youngest, Heera (also Amitabh) he considers to be the black sheep, and most illiterate of the family, and he will not have anything to do with him. He is enraged when Heera proposes to marry his ward, Gauri (Rachana Bannerjee); and even more angered when Heera flip-flops, albeit at the request of Gauri, and refuses to marry her. Heera is shunned by one and all in the family, including Gauri. And then Radha (Soundarya) enters his life; she marries him; encourages him to live independently; and helps his business flourish. Soon they are blessed with birth of a son. Heera fulfills his father's dream of a charitable hospital for the poor. Bhanupratap comes to know of his grandchild, and meets him secretly.

Storyline

            A newspaper reporter exploits an ordinary man for few rupees to pose as a man who is fighting against the corrupt politicians and prints imaginary stories in his name to improve the circulation of her newspaper. People take him for real and he becomes a powerful leader of poor man. One day the paper prints a letter in his name that he is going to end his life fighting corruption. This puts the ordinary man in a fix. He knows that at this juncture he can't refute the accuracy of all those stories. He also realizes that he is the sole hope of millions. Finally, he buckles under moral pressure and jumps from an incomplete multi-storied building and ends his life.

Storyline

         After learning a few magical tricks from his fellow inmate former businessman and ex-jail convict assume the identity of an ascetic named Mahaprabhu Jagatsagar Chintamani so that he can easily use these tricks to con the villagers of Dharampur with a motive of acquiring their wealth for himself. His U.S. returned son, Shankar Narayan refuses to accept this way of living only to consult an expert magician named Goga to put an end to his father's misdeeds. Goga who later changes his name to Gogeshwar manages to outwit Mahaprabhu and take control of his ashram. Feeling satisfy after his deeds has been reached; Shankar then asks Goga to leave but a stubborn will-power Goga refuses to do so as he plans to explain his stubbornness to Shankar at a later date.

Storyline

          An underworld criminal name JK is involved in terrorism as well as criminal activities, he also intervene in government affairs and is a crook in the book. When an honest police inspector Srivastav attempts to expose JK he is framed and evidences are tampered with so he is unable to prove his innocence, an as a result he commit suicide by hanging himself leaving his wife and son behind. Years later his son grows up an become a police inspector like his dad; inspector Vijay Kumar Srivastav; but is very much different from his dad by turning a blind eye to criminal activities, never serious with his job and accept huge sums of money to let off petty crooks. The talk of the town is a man in black clothing who calls himself "Shahenshah"; he operates as a Judge in the night, giving a verdict against his victims and killing them in a Executioner style.

Storyline

      Kishan Kumar Khanna is a well-rate film actor who falls head over heels in love with young, beautiful and attractive Anuradha Saxena much to the dislikeness of her gangster brother who wastes no time in entrapping Kishan in a web of lies and deceits and gets him imprisoned for life. While in jail, Kishan reaches up with his long lost elder brother Karan who has been sentenced for life charged with murdering the Police Commissioner son, Vijay Sinha. Together they both plotted a scheme which will only benefit them in granting revenge from there perpetrators.

Storyline

       Amarnath Kapoor has devoted himself to business and money, in the process he neglect his only son, Vicky, leaving him to be taken care of by Munshi Phoolchand. Finding that he does not get proper attention from his dad, Vicky started to drink alcohol and he does not miss an opportunity to insult his dad. Amarnath would like Vicky to marry into wealth but Vicky does not have any such plans on his mind as he love a poor cabernet dancer, Meena. Amarnath does not approve of this proposal and threatens to throw Vicky out of the house. Now Vicky must either decide to fall in line with his dad's wish or quietly move to the streets.

Storyline

      Street-wise and poor, Amar Nath makes a living selling cinema tickets and fast-food snacks (Bhel Puri) outside cinema halls. He is taken under the wing of a politician and Chair of the "Garibon Ki Party', Shankar Narayan, allowed to join the Police Academy, and returns as a Police Inspector. He falls in love and gets married to Asha, the only daughter of multi-millionaire businessman, Sitaram. When he successfully apprehends and kills a terrorist by the name of Anil Raj, he is promoted as the Assistant Commisisoner of Police. Asha shares his joy, and soon both are informed that they will soon be proud parents. Then Amar also apprehends and kills a smuggler by the Koya Koya Atachi, and gets immensely popular with the public, so much so that Shankar Narayan resigns and asks Amar to be the Chair of the political party, which Amar accepts and quits his job from the Police Force.
