Storyline

    Gopi (Dilip Kumar) stays in the village with his elder brother, Girdhari (Om Prakash) and their younger sister Nandini (Farida Jalal). Girdhari goes to the landlord Lala (Pran) to take money, which he had saved for Nandini's wedding but gets thrown out of the house. Gopi forcibly gets the money but is accused by the landlord of stealing. Sent out of the house by Girdhari, Gopi leaves for the city and vows to come back only after making enough money for Nandini's wedding.

Storyline

   Honest Shankarnath, even though employed in a supervisory capacity, nets only Rs.630/-, and is unable to accede to any of the demands placed by his three school-going children, Ravi, Roopa, and Raja. When the trio declare a hunger-fast until their demands are met, he decides to let them run the household expenses, for a period of six months, by giving Ravi his entire salary. Ravi thinks that he can save a lot of money and get stuff for himself and his siblings - but things go seriously wrong when Raja loses money while gambling; relatives descend on them during Diwali; cash is stolen; and his mother, Padma, becomes seriously ill.

Storyline

         Inspector Sam Bharucha (Naseeruddin Shah) is an honest and diligent Police Inspector. He frequently comes across youth gangs, calling themselves "bhai". He also has marital problems with his son himself calling himself a "bhai", and associating with criminal elements. One day during one of this patrols, there is a shoot-out between a youth gang and his police party. A number of youth are killed. Various family members come forward to claim the deceased bodies of the youth, save for one. This intrigues Bharucha, and he sets out to find out why. He gets an anonymous message from a caller, calling himself Poonappa Awade (Dilip Prabhawalkar). Bharucha meets up with Poonappa, but doubts his credibility, as Poonappa confides in his him that the dead body of the youth belongs to a very rich and influential family. When Bharucha meets with the alleged parents of the youth, he is told that their son is abroad, in America.

Storylane

      It was a very good movie, a love triangle, but wonder why it was not a hit. It had very good story and songs. Although Deb Mukherjee was not a very popular star like his brother Joy Mukherjee, but his acting was very good, he did not seem scripted, acted with passion, but may be, luck was not by his side, despite being produced by big banner. Not a single moment in the film was boring, would highly recommend to watch this movie.Needless to say Tanuja as ever was a treat to watch. The story reminds us of the movie Sangam till the very last, but with a good twist in the end. Excepting one or two songs all songs are memorable, especially the last one 'Savera ka Suraj tumhare liye hai'.

Storyline

  Bharat (Rajendra Kumar) is a patriotic young man for whom patritism does not stop anywhere. He comes to know of the tyrancy of the present ruler's Diwan (Ajit) and he and his colleagues (Soodesh Kumar, Rajendra Nath) rebel. They kidnap Princess Chitralekha (Waheeda Rehman) unknowingly, and call her Jwala. Meanwhile, Bharat's dad (Balraj Sahni) who is the Inspector General, does not approve of Bharat's rebellious nature and decides to arrest him on sight. Bharat's mom (Kamini Kaushal) is torn between the love for her husband and her son. Bharat determination against the Diwan is so strong that he decides to bomb-blast a railway train transporting the Diwan, knowingly that his own dad is also travelling on that train. Will Bharat break his mom's heart by killing his dad and the Diwan? Good acting scores by the entire caste make this movie worth watching.

Storyline

    Bhola Nath is a young petty criminal/robber/pickpocket whom works with a female acomplice and his former lover, Sharmii. Bhola unknowlingly is the illigetimate son of a police officer, named Kumar, whom has been tracking a shadowy gangster, named Amanarchard Rathore, whom Kumar imprisoned 20 years before and has now been paroled and resumed his life of crime. Bhola was abducted by Amanarchard's henchmen as a little boy, but escaped and was raised by a veteran thief named 'Mr. John,' while his Lt. Kumar and his wife and other son have long belived that their other son was dead. Bhola and Sharmii stumble upon a manuscript for a book titled 'Chori Mera Kaam' during one of their robbery excursions belonging to Mr. John's former partner in crime which they sell to a shady publisher, named Parvin Bhai, which becomes a nationwide best seller. But it attracts unwanted attention from the police, the local mob, and the original writer himself.

       Rajkumari Ophelia wants Devi Maa's statuette, which is located in Pratapgarh, recruits Sher Singh to carry out this task, and will marry him if he brings it to her. He sets out to do so, but before that could happen, Thakur takes it's possession, incurring Devi Maa's wrath, and he ends up losing his son. Fearing that the rest of the family will also perish on the day of the Khumbh Mela, he instructs his brother, Ranjeet, to ensure that the statuette is replaced in the Mandir, but Ranjeet is unable to do so, gets separated from his daughter, Meena, and becomes insane. Ramlal, who has the statuette, disappears; his wife gets separated from their son, Birju, while her brother-in-law, Mangal, is arrested and jailed for killing Rana, and she re-locates to live in Bombay with Mangal's son, Shekhar.  Adventure classic featuring Durga Khote's most memorable role as the pirate Queen Saudamini. Faced with extreme patriarchal laws in an ancient seaport kingdom and denied the legal custody of her infant son Sudhir, Saudamini becomes a pirate declaring war on the state, and especially on its tyrannical minister of justice, Durjaya (Chandramohan). She attacks a royal ship and captures Durjaya, inadvertently also taking Princess Nandini (Apte). In captivity, Durjaya declares his love for Nandini but she falls fir a shepherd boy (Nandrekar) who turns out to be Saudamini's long-lost son Sudhir. Durjaya's men then capture Saudamini and a palace intrigue ensues marked by her emancipatory rhetoric and the universal humanist arguments of her adviser Shekhar (Kale).

An argument ensues, and Pyarelal is asked to leave. He leaves, swearing only to return when he is a famous and wealthy man. He meets with pretty actress, Asha, both fall in love with each other, and he starts acting in the theater, and achieves quick success. He starts sending money and gifts home to his parents, and hopes that they will be pleased with his success.

Storyline

       A circular story, told in flashback, in which eternal repetition is only interrupted by death in the form of a relentlessly linear railway engine. The film opens at a railway crossing where a man is about to kill his wife when the narrative spins into the past via a song. The central story is of the unhappy love affair between Kasturi, the Harijan (Untouchable) daughter of the railway level-crossing guard Dukhia, and Pratap, the Brahmin son of the grocer Mohan. At first, rumor and mob violence are deployed to lethal effect in order to maintain a 'traditional', oppressive morality. Later, when the main protagonists are about to conform and marry selected partners, rumor and maliciousness again intervene to trigger renewed violence until the on-rushing train of fate stops the strife.
