Storyline

  Although India obtained freedom from the British in 1947, Goa and it's territories are still ruled by the Portuguese. A group of revolutionaries want a free Goa and are thus wanted by the Portuguese administration. Amongst them are Purandare, Narvekar, and Dinanath, and when Dinanath's whereabouts are known to the police, he escapes with his young son, Ramdas, and goes to their hideout. With the assistance of Purandare they do manage to escape but are shot. A horrified Ramdas watches as his dad is shot dead by Purandare. This is how Ramdas starts hating revolutionaries. Ramdas changes his name to Ronnie, befriends a girl named Julie, and grows up taking to crime as his career. He soon prospers and lets the villagers also prosper with him. Then when the Police Commissioner is shot dead, Ronnie helps the authorities to apprehend his killer, who is a young man named Shekhar, who is arrested, tried in Court, and sentenced to be hanged.

Storyline

     Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) grows up as a Nastik (athiest) because his father got murdered by Tiger and his mother and sister got torched in their house and blamed God for doing nothing. After his father, mother and sister got killed, he decided to bring justice himself and the child Shankar went to the palace of Tiger but instead of killing, he blind him. When he grows up, he went to have a career of stealng other people's property. He join forces with Balbir (Pran) and Gauri (Hema Malini). At one time, he was shot by Tiger (Amjad Khan) for stealing his goods and then in an attempt to hide, he found his mother, who he thought was dead in that fire. In a rude awakening, he decided to stop stealing other people's property and find his long lost family. Incidedntally, Balbir saved Shankar's sister who was chased by Tiger's men as she went outside to bring medicine for her mother.

Storyline

   Criminal Vikram Singh is arrested for possession of drugs thus the case is called up in a court of law which forces him to approach his lawyer friend, Amit but instead of favoring for him Amit gets him prosecuted. Shortly after Vikram gets released from jail framing Amit for the killing of his associate, Rajan. On the advice of his wife, Janaki Amit decides to run far-away to avoid getting arrested by the police. Meanwhile Janaki give birth to twin boys, Shankar and Guru; Shankar grows up to be a police officer but unfortunately Guru gets separated from her and grows up with an elderly couple. Ironically Amit now resides in Nepal where-by he is a well-respected multi-millionaire businessman, Rana Ranveer and has adopted a young girl, Manju who grows up with him. Fortunately the family gets united and plots to bring Vikram to justice.

Andhaa Kanoon 1983

Storyline

        Jan Nissar Akhtar Khan works as a Forest Officer, and lives with his wife Zakhiya. One day while on duty he comes across some poachers who were cutting sandal wood trees illegally. When challenged, they retaliate, a struggle ensues, and one of them, Ram Gupta, gets killed. Khan is charged with killing him, tried in Court, and sentenced to several years in prison. His shocked and devastated wife kills herself. Years later, an angry and embittered Khan is released from prison. One day he comes across another young man, Vijay Singh, and finds out that he is struggling with taking vengeance against two men who had traumatized and killed some of his family members, and decides to help him. It is then Khan finds out that Gupta is still alive and decides to kill him, quite dramatically in the same courtroom where he was convicted for his murder. Watch how this action will effect Khan's future, and Vijay's plan for avenging his family.

Storyline

         Master Dinanath is an ex-freedom fighter. When he gets Thakur Pratap Singh arrested for arms smuggling, he has Master's wife Bharati and young daughter Priti kidnapped and also turns his locality's public against him. Dinanath escapes with his young son Raju and they settle into a slum named Bharat Nagar. Meanwhile, Bharati contracts leprosy and escapes from her kidnappers, leaving her daughter Priti in a friend's care. Dinanath is led to presume that his wife and daughter are dead. Bharati Nagar is ruled by four underworld dons, each representing a different Indian community. Dinanath persuades them to live in harmony and once they settle their differences, the four dons use Dinanath's stay in Bharat Nagar to cover up their own illegal activities. Fast Forward to 15 years later, the year is 1962. Dinanath's now grown-up son Raju turns out to be the opposite of his father by being drawn into the underworld, committing crimes to earn money with his father unaware of what he does.

Storyline

              When two twin brothers Sudhir and Adhir get orphaned upon the death of their father, Magistrate Chaturvedi adopts them and brings them up like his own children. Though Adhir goes insane after the death of his father, Sudhir picks up the opportunity, studies hard and becomes a doctor like Magistrate Chaturvedi's son Prashant. When Prashant gets caught for performing an illegal operation, Sudhir takes up the blame to repay the debt of the Chaturvedi family on him and his brother. Storyline

        Hari R. Srivastav lives a middle-class life in rural India with two step-brothers, Govind and Rajesh. Circumstances compel him to get married to Seema, who dislikes Govind and Rajesh. When Hari goes to Bombay to study law to become a lawyer, she manages to get rid of the two children, who find their way to Bombay, become beggars, then are rescued by a devout Muslim, Rahim, who looks after them like his own children, Farida and Anwar. 20 years later, Hari, Govind and Rajesh are re-united in a Courtroom - where Hari is the Judge; Rajesh is accused of embezzling money from his father-in-law, Verma, and of drug-dealing and smuggling; while Govind, a taxi-driver, prone to physical violence - is accused of killing Verma!!!

Storyline

       Kaalia - A name that spells terror in the minds of people, and the police but Kaalia was not always like this. Years ago he was a mere simpleton. Living simply in a shanty ch awl with his elder brother, Shyamlal, Bhabhi (Sister - in - law), whom he adored and their daughter Munni. Storyline

   Multi-millionaire Bishan Kumar and orphan Kishan are inseparable friends and live in the same house with Bishan's widowed mother and a maid servant. Bishan's father was responsible for the sentence of his uncle who has a criminal background; after completing his sentence Bishan's uncle pleads with his mother who forgives and accepts him and his son, Jagdish to live in the house together with them. While Kishan is a hardworking farmer who cultivates a plot of land Bishan goes abroad to further his education. Years later Bishan return as an adult only to renew his friendship with Kishan who is also an adult; Bishan then finds that Kishan has a golden voice which cannot be recognize in the village but can be heart rendering in the world of music in the city. Meanwhile Kishan is introduced to Bishan's wife, Sheela and son, Munna. Bishan decides to make all arrangements to take Kishan to the city; at first he refuses but later on agrees when Bishan convinces him.

Storyline

    Major Jaidev Rajvansh and his fellow officer Hussein manage to rescue a leading politician as well as capture his kidnapper, Abhrush. The terrorist has been searched for years and he is finally captured by the two officers. Jai returns to a joyous welcome, and is declared a national hero. Storyline


            Although orphaned at very young ages, Scriptwriter Amit and military pilot Shekhar are brothers and also very good friends. The latter is happily engaged to Shobha, while the former has just fallen in love with pretty, young Chandni. But tragedy strikes when Shekhar's plane is shot down in Kashmir. Amit feels it to be his obligation to leave the girl he loves and marry his brother's pregnant fiancée instead. Storyline

      Ram and Balram are 2 young boys who live with their loving parents. Their scheming uncle, Jagatpal, however kills the boy's father and mother. Jagatpal lies to the boys that their parents have been killed in an accident and promises to raise them himself. He enrolls the younger brother Balram, in school and eventually sends him off to join the police force. The older becomes a mechanic. Jagatpal has a tight hold on the boys, even when Ram is an adult, he still gives all his wages to his uncle and is only allowed to keep a few rupees for pocket money. When Balram returns as a fully fledged police officer, Jagatpal finally reveals his plan. He is going to use Ram to target the biggest smugglers in India. Now that Balram is a police officer, he will protect his brother from getting arrested. Balram has reservations, but Jagatpal threatens to beat him just as he did when he was a boy.
