Storyline

        Raj Saxena is in love with fellow collegian, Rati Verma, and both want to get married. Rati introduces Raj to her father, Major Verma, who, after finding out about Raj's background, decides to have nothing to do with him. For the Saxena family carries a stigma against their name - that of cowardice, betrayal, and corruption - which former Police Inspector Anand R. Saxena, Raj's dad, was accused of. Raj is humiliated by Verma's treatment, and swears to clear his father's name by joining the police force. What Raj does not know that in so doing, he has made himself a puppet in the hands of the very people who branded and stigmatized his father.

Storyline

         Widowed Dinanath Kumar lives a poor lifestyle in Poona with two sons, Rajeev & Sanjeev; daughter, Payal; and widowed sister, Kalawanti. He has great hopes for Rajeev who he has got educated, but is very disappointed with Sanjeev, who works as a Garage Mechanic with Tahir Khan, and is always disruptive and in trouble. Matters rise to such an extend that the Police arrest Sanjeev for setting fire to the house of Premnath and nearly killing him. Dinanath begs Premnath to withdraw the charges, which he does as he fears that he may be charged for sexually assaulting Payal, and in this way Sanjeev is discharged. Rajeev will not have anything to do with Sanjeev, and asks him to leave the house, despite pleadings from Dinanath and Payal. Sanjeev leaves and re-locates to Bombay, where he initially finds work in a bakery run by Chandulal and his daughter, Bela. After Chandulal accuses him of molesting Bela, Sanjeev meets with Sahir Khan, and starts work as a Mechanic and a taxi-driver.

Storyline

         After the death of his wife, Savitri, former bandit, Suraj Singh, decides to go straight, and with the help of a Catholic Priest, Father John, goes to work in a small hillside community along with his young son, Raju. Suraj is afraid that his former partner, Zalim Singh, may come hunting for him and hence changes Raju's name to Johny. Years pass by, Johny has grown up and is in love with Seema, the daughter of his employer, Colonel. Suraj talks to Johny to give up the idea of marrying someone so rich and wealthy - with considerable success. An embittered Seema agrees to marry anyone her grandfather chooses, which is Amar, who has returned from London. Before that could happen, Johny has an encounter with Zalim, who is subsequently arrested by the Police, found guilty and jailed for life. Then Amar arrives with his sister, Sheela, and instantly approves of Seema.

Storyline

    When a Police inspector is killed by a band of thugs, his grieving father Samsher Singh seeks justice. Pratap Singh has left behind a pregnant widow, who dies in chidbirth, leaving Samsher to bring up the child Kunal. The transformation of Samsher Singh (a locomotive engine driver) into Sobhraj, multi millionaire and owner of a vast network of business. Kunal is brought up by Abu Baba, a servant of Sobhraj to be honest, upright, and very independent minded. Durga, the daughter of a former employee of Sobhraj, who is serving time and Kunal fall in love. This not acceptable to his grandfather, though Abu Baba approves of the relationship. Disaster strikes when an attempt is made to separate the lovers. The life of Samsher Singh alias Sobhraj begins to unravel from here. How Kunal's ethical upbringing by his foster-father, and his financial and business circumstances of his grandfather meet in a titanic conscience clash and how he resolves matters is at the nexus of the plot.

Storyline

                 Shamlal is an educated young man who is employed in the construction business by Ratanlal. Shamlal is also the union leader, and would like Ratanlal to enforce measures for workers' safety. Before he could ensure this, Shamlal is accidentally killed, leaving behind his wife, Parvati, and young son, Rakesh. Rakesh is in trauma because of an incident, and this trauma is repeated in his mind everytime his mother comes near him. Parvati is instructed to keep away from Rakesh, and Rakesh is adopted by Robert and his wife, Kathy, and they re-name him Rocky. Years later Rocky has grown up without knowing who his birth mother is. Rocky lifestyle is carefree, until he falls in love with Renuka. It is then he learns that he is really Rakesh, and that his mother is still alive, and his father did not die accidentally, but was murdered. Rocky sets out to avenge his father's dead, not knowing that his days, along with those of his near and dear ones, may also be numbered.

Storyline

          Tall, attractive Anajli, in the company of two female friends in a convertible are stranded with a flat tire. Unable to change the tire, they wait for someone to help them. It is then they see a vehicle head their way, the driver is Jai Walia, a former Major in the Indian Army, and a business executive at present. He assists them, and when Anjali and Jai's eyes lock - it is love at first sight. Shortly thereafter the two get married and settle down in a life of harmony and love. Then one day Anjali gets a phone call from a woman who cautions her that Jai is having an affair, and she should check his handkerchief for lipstick marks. Anjali does so, and finds lipstick marks on them, when she confronts Jai, he denies ever having an affair with anyone. Then Anjali, on a surprise visit to Jai's office, finds his Secretary, Mahek, rubbing his back and shoulders. And yet again, she finds Jai in bed with an unknown young female in one of their spare bedrooms.

Storyline

     This is the story of wronged and misunderstood Arvasu (Milind Soman), a brahman by caste, who has become a performing actor. He loves Nittilai (Sonali Kulkarni), who reciprocates his love, but seeks approval of her father and her village's elders before marrying him. Arvasu's brother is Parvasu (Jackie Shroff) who has been conducting a major prayer ceremony to appease Devraj Indra (Amitabh Bachchan) so that their region may get rain. Arvasu's father is Raibhya (Mohan Agashe), who dislikes both his sons, and wishes that he cremate them before his death. Raibhyu, suspects Vishaka (Raveena Tandon) Parvasu's wife, of having an illicit affair with Yarvaki (Nagarjuna), and detests her. Yavarki loves Vishaka, but left her to worship and pray to Devraj Indra for 10 years, and on his return found her married to Parvasu. Parvasu married Vishaka, lived with her happily for 3 years, before leaving her to conduct the prayer ceremoney for Devraj Indra.
