Storyline

            Suraj Prakash is a politician in India representing the Lok Kalyan Party. He would like to address burning issues such as poverty if and when he is voted in power. He exposes a corrupt businessman named Kanwarlal by stopping his trucks carrying illicit goods, but instead loses several party workers when the driver runs over them. Kanwarlal is arrested, but there is no evidence because the file has been misplaced by Junior Public Prosecutor Sandhya. The police file a case against Sandhya, she is arrested and held in prison for a trial. Her bail is posted and she is released. She finds out that it was Kanwarlal who had bailed her out. Then her son gets kidnapped, and it is Kanwarlal who rescues him. She is indebted to Kanwarlal and starts working with him as his attorney. What Kanwarlal does not know is that Sandhya has a questionable past, a past that may well send him to the gallows, if not end his life.

Storyline

              Notorious bandit Tantia Bheel is arrested by the Police, tried in Court, found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in jail, where he gets to meet Jailer Vijay Saxena. Shortly thereafter Tantia breaks out of jail, and re-joins his fellow-bandits, led by Bhairav Singh and his son, Jagga. Acknowledging his failure, Vijay tenders his resignation and vows to bring Tantia back to jail so that he can complete his sentence. Vijay does find Tantia and readies himself to apprehend him, but he must first overcome an unexpected opponent, in the shape and form of Shankar, who is out to avenge the death of his sister, Pammi, at the hands of Tantia. Watch what happens when both Vijay and Shankar clash with each other for Tantia - while the bandit remains at large.

Storyline

              After the passing away of her parents, Anita Kumar now lives with her paternal uncle, Kumar; his wife, Seema; and Seema's brother, Vikram. The family's business is taken over by Kumar, who uses some money to buy an old mansion deep in the countryside of Rana. Seema would like Anita to marry her brother, but Anita has already given her heart to Sunil, who runs a photo studio and is poor. This does not go over well with the Kumars, and they forbid her to see Sunil anymore. Then, when Kumar goes to take possession of the mansion, Anita's friends Shobha and Anand ask her if they can visit the mansion and also invite Sunil secretly. They also invite several other friends, including Sunil's assistant Manghu and travel via a bus. What the group does not know that is the mansion holds an evil secret, and that beneath the mansion, locked in a dungeon by its very own biological father, lies a monster, evil beyond imagination--and its primary diet is human meat!!

Storyline

      Inspector Mahendra Nath lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Bombay along with his wife, and son, Vijay. He is honest and diligent which brings him in the bad books of Davar, who initially tries to kill Vijay, but Vijay ends up being rescued by a honest truck-driver, Shambhu. When Mahendra goes to avenge this attempted killing, he himself is shot dead. Vijay swears to avenge his father's death by attempting to reform criminals and as a result is hired as a Deputy Jailor. Shortly thereafter Vijay is shocked to find Shambhu an inmate of this jail. While Shambhu makes it clear that no jail can hold him too long, Vijay accepts this challenge and swears that he will capture and bring back Shambhu at any and all costs, and also promises to investigate the reasons behind Shambhu's crime and subsequent conviction.

Storyline

           Vijay is the only son of wealthy Brijbhushan and Yashoda. When he grows up, he attends college and is friendly with a pretty young woman named Anupama Sinha, the daughter of Advocate Yashwant, who is a close friend of his family. Both families expect Vijay and Anupama to marry soon. Then Vijay meets another college student by the name of Neelima and both fall in love with each other. He wants to introduce Neelima to his parents, who outright reject her as she not only comes from a poor family, but is an orphan, and has a questionable character. Vijay decides to leave his parents' house, starts working as a truck driver, and lives with Neelima in a small tenement. Then one day, Vijay gets the shock of his life when he sees Neelima in the arms of another collegian - J.C. - and that's when he finds out that Neelima has been two-timing him, is devastated, and heartbroken. He returns home to his parents, and decides to marry Anupama.

Storyline

    Cold-hearted and manipulative Kamla has fallen in love with a poor man and marries him and has a child named Santosh. She soon realizes that life is not fun living in poverty, and abandons her child and husband, and returns back to her father and his wealth. She re-marries millionaire Kailashpathi, and has a child named Kundan from him. Years pass by, Kundan and Santosh have both grown up. Kundan is the owner of the mill with his mom, while Santosh is a struggling mill worker, and a union worker. A confrontation ensues between the mill and the workers, and Kamla is able to negotiate a settlement and get the workers back to work, but fails to keep the promise. Santosh opposes this, and she sets her goons and Kundan against him. Santosh is abducted and held prisoner by Kamla and Kundan, and the only way he can be released is when he compromises with them.

Ghar Ka Chiraag 1989

Storyline

       Kumar is a very wealthy businessman and lives a comfortable lifestyle with his lovely wife, Asha, in a palatial house. The only thing missing from their lives is a son. When Asha gets pregnant, Kumar knows that all his dreams will be fulfilled and his business will be known as "Kumar & Son". Unfortunately, Asha has a miscarriage which results in her death as well as in the death of their son. A devastated Kumar takes to alcohol and devotes his energy and finances to a school for needy children in scenic Mussoorie. It is here he gets to meet the College Principal's daughter, Kiran, who he knows is in love with a fellow-collegian, Ravi. When Ravi takes part in the annual car rally, his vehicle is sabotaged and he is reportedly killed. But Ravi survives and with the help of his parents wants to return to Mussoorie. Before that could happen, Kiran's father tells them that Kiran is no more, throwing Ravi into a relapse. Months later Ravi does recover, but refuses to get married.
