Storyline

         Gulrez "Gullu" Qadir is sick and tired of rejecting substandard, dowry-seeking men. With new law 498a behind her, she decides to marry a man, push him into a dowry case, take settlement money from him, then leave for America to fulfill her dreams as a fashion shoe designer. Enter Tariq "Taru" Haider, a middle-class chef who owns a restaurant in Lucknow whom she pushes into a dowry case; but, as luck would have it, he's a guy, punished for Gullu's past ills, who's finally the right guy for her (if only she could see it).
