Storyline

            The son of Isban-based Hasanshah, multi-linguist healer, Zabak, who was born after his parents' Haj trip, falls in love with wealthy Zainab, the daughter of Hakim-e-Alla, much to the chagrin of Mirza Qasim Beg. He complains to her father, who has both father and son arrested and humiliated. Unable to handle the sentence of shaving his head and beard, Hasanshah kills himself, and Zabak is exiled. His mother, unable to bear the separation, blinds herself. Zabak reluctantly joins a group of bandits led by Usmanshah Saudagar after preventing the sexual molestation of his daughter, Sameena. When the group comes to know that Qasim is to wed Zainab, they attack and loot the community, and Zainab is abducted by a crippled bandit. With the help of Khacharshah and Salma, Zabak helps Zainab flee from captivity and both renew their romance.

Storyline

        Injured by a Jewish child named Elijah, Brutus has his soldiers arrest him, and ignoring the father, Ezra's pleas, he has Elijah thrown to the lions. Ezra's servant, Emmanuel, breaks into Brutus' mansion and abducts his daughter, Lydia, and takes her to Ezra, so that he could kill her. But a grieving Ezra decides to adopt her and re-names her Hannah. Years later the father and daughter are financially well off but people continue to be oppressed by the Romans. Hannah comes to the assistance of Julius Caesar's heir, Marcus, due to an accident with his chariot, and he is smitten by her despite of his forthcoming marriage to Octavia. Unable to get her out of his mind, he dons a Jewish guise, calls himself Moshe, and dramatically befriends her and Ezra. He turns all his affections on Hannah much to Octavia's displeasure. Caesar wants him to wed but Marcus refuses, and an enraged Caesar gives him time to reconsider.

Storyline

             An overnight train journey, from London into France, business class, is comfortable and expensive. The premise where two of the film's protagonists,'strangers' to each other, meet, talk and decide to eliminate each other's spouses to alleviate themselves of the hell they are trapped in.

Storyline

    Dr. Vishwas comes to the assistance of accident victim, Ahmedabad-based Javed Siddiqui, the Editor of 'Inquilaab', and the recently appointed Chair of the Inquiry Commission on religious riots that took place in Gujarat during August 2004. He not only medically treats Javed but also drives him to his residence where he lives with his wife, Ayesha. On his way home, Vishwas finds out that Javed has forgotten some documents in his car, and drives back to return them. He does not know that soon he will be taken captive by a gun-toting Ayesha, who also suspects that Javed is having an affair with a woman named Madhu, and who believes that Vishwas had sexually molested her 14 times in 3 days during August 2004.

Storyline

    Vijaykumar lives a poor lifestyle along with his honest store-owner widower father, Mohanlal, in a small town. The latter sells his merchandise at a reasonable price much to the chagrin of his competitor, Lalchand, who plants drugs in his store and has him arrested. Unable to bear the shock and humiliation, he passes away, leaving Vijaykumar in the care of his doctor. The latter grows up, becomes a graduate in Science, and re-locates to Bombay to be employed and live with wealthy Champalal and his daughter, Geeta. Vijaykumar does not know that Champalal's partner is none other than Lalchand, who wants his son, Kishore, to wed Geeta, and is all set to create obstacles and challenges for him by marketing untested creams and painkillers.

Storyline

   Shraddha lives in Mahim, Bombay, with her widowed dad, younger school-going brother, Bittu; a step-brother and his wife, Rani. When her dad passes away, he leaves all the property in Bittu's name, which does not auger well with Rani and her husband. They lock Shraddha and Bittu in a room, refuse to feed them in order to force him to sign the papers. Both manage to escape, but Bittu is killed when boiling oil falls on his body. An unconscious Shraddha is rescued by her long-time boyfriend, Amit Kumar, who takes her to a hospital, and after she recovers, gets married to her. She is welcomed in the Kumar residence, which consists of Geeta, Amit's mom, and Raju, Amit's school-going brother. Raju welcomes Shraddha initially, but begins to hate her when she becomes pregnant. Then a business rival, Laxmi Narayan, breaks into their house in order to steal money.
