Storyline

      Bombay-based Ashok is a fast-talking conman who will do anything for a buck, cheat, steal, and even sell a laundry receipt as a lottery ticket. He has, however, written to his village-based mom, that he is the owner of the Taj Mahal Hotel, and is very wealthy, although he lives in a small room in a chawl. Ashok meets with Seema, and both fall in love. Seema has another admirer in Kumar, who will do anything to marry Seema, include abduct Ashok's mom, and hold her captive, until Ashok complies with his demands.

Storyline

       Dr. Shankar Chaudhry lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay with his widowed mom, Rukmini, and younger sister, Manju. His mom would like him to get married to Ambala-based Advocate Madhusudan's daughter, Maya, even though neither of them have seen her. Shankar does agree to this marriage; the marriage takes place, the bride faints after the formalities; she is looked after by her cousin, Prakash, and Madhusudan; she recovers, and the next day she accompanies Shankar to his home. On the very first night she informs him that since she is undergoing a Holy Fast, she must refrain from any sexual activity. A few days later, Prakash arrives to take her to Banaras where her dad has re-located. Shankar accompanies them and get re-married to her at Bhagwan Vishwanath's Temple. Thereafter, both get intimate and soon Maya becomes pregnant. One day Shankar comes home to find both Prakash and Maya missing. He searches for them, but is unable to locate them.

Storyline

 Geeta (Waheeda Rehman) and Madan (Kamaljit) are in love with each other and want to marry. They meet each other's parents and subject to the matching of their astrological charts, their engagement is finalized. However, the pandit reports to Madan's mom that the marriage will be ill-fated, and bad things will result for Madan and his family. Madan's mom is opposed to the marriage, however, Madan and Geeta are not superstitious and are determine to marry each other. They do get married, and then one disaster after another befalls Madan's family, his dad, his sister, and his younger brother; which leaves both Geeta and Madan wondering if more disasters are to follow them, and if the Pandit's prophecy is indeed true.

Storyline

            Shobha Mathur lives a wealthy lifestyle with her Professor dad, who is now carrying out experiments on various issues. One day while doing so, he makes an employee named Manohar drink a portion, which results in his death. Rajan comes to their rescue, gets rid of the body, and starts blackmailing Mathur, which can only end when Shobha marries Rajan. Then one day Shobha meets a poet by the name of Sudarshan and both of them fall in love. When he asks for her hand in marriage, Shobha refuses. The next day Shobha finds a note addressed to her from Sudarshan in which he has stated that he is going to kill himself. Thereafter, every night she starts to hear Sudarshan's voice, blaming her for his death, as his soul is unable to find solace. With Sudarshan out of the way, Rajan readies himself for marrying Shobha - and it looks like he may have his way with the Mathurs after all - without having to encounter any more obstacles.

Storyline

    Mirza Yusuf Changezi has known Jahan Ara since childhood, and both have been good friends. After they grow up, things are not quite the same, as Jahan Ara's dad is none other than Emperor Shah Jahan, and men are not permitted to meet with the princess under any circumstance. But Jahan and Mirza do meet secretly and promise to marry each other. Misfortune visits the emperor, when his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, passes away. The emperor's hair turns silvery overnight, and he pledges to built a memorial to his wife's name and call it Mumtaz Mahal, which will subsequently be called Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders on Earth. At her deathbed, Mumtaz had made Jahan to promise that she will look after her dad, which she does. This responsiblity makes her sacrifice her love for Mirza. Mirza is heartbroken and continues to believe that Jahan will marry him someday, sooner or later, and roams around the region looking for her, and her elusive love for him

Storyline

      Ashok comes from a wealthy family, which is run by his dad, and elder brother, Alok. Ashok himself is a slacker, and is only interested in slacking, and playing practical jokes, and no doubt his favorite day is fool's day, April 1st, when he outdoes himself. His jokes befriend him with Madhu, and both fall in love. Then a practical joke hits the truth, and both Ashok and Madhu become targets of an international gang, and must run for their own safety, as well as for the safety of their respective families.
