Storyline

   Manager Ajay Singh find out that a man by the name of Naresh is murdered and inform police inspector Rai, but all evidences are tampered with at the crime scene and as a result the murderer became difficult to trace. From here on Ajay's life takes a new turn in trying to find the culprit who have murdered Naresh, in the process he meets a young woman, Kiran who have some crucial evidences that might lead Ajay to the culprit who have murdered alcoholic and womanizer Naresh.

Storyline

         In a nation crippled with poverty and crime, young Saraswatichandra is brought up by his rather cruel step-mother, and eventually decides to shun materialistic life. Hoping to get him to change his mind, his father arranges his marriage with Kumud Sundari, but he remains adamant. When Kumud comes to know, she writes to him, they exchange letters, he comes to meet her and both fall deeply in love with each other. He returns home, makes preparation for the wedding but his step-mother instigates his father against him, compelling him to forsake everything, and writes to Kumud's family accordingly. He changes his mind and goes to meet with Kumud but finds she is now married to Pramadh. A tearful Kumud re-locates to live with her husband and her family, but finds her husband unsophisticated, uneducated, alcoholic and womanizer who frequents brothels. Then Saraswatichandra re-enters her life when he gets employed by her in-laws under the name of Navinchandra.

Storyline

      Kind-hearted yet naive Bajrang (Mehmood) drives a taxi (laila) and helps anyone he can. He is devoted to another kind-hearted gentleman and long-time bank employee by the name of Sadhuram (Om Prakash). Bajrang is attracted to a school-teacher, Vidya (Bharathi), whose brother is an artiste, Dina Nath (Kishore Kumar). One day a man claiming to be a child-hood friend of Sadhuram, named Sher Khan (Pran), enters their lives. His motive is to rob the bank where Sadhuram is employed and blame Sadhuram for this. He manipulates Sadhuram into accepting him, and moves in with him. He borrows a large sum of money from Sadhuram, and also manages to duplicate the bank's safe's key, and steals the money. The Bank Manager (Nasir Hussain) notifies the police of the robbery and Sadhuram becomes the prime suspect. In panic Sadhuram, who comes into possession of the money that Sher Khan has stolen, flees with the police on his tail.

Saathi 1968

Storyline

        Dr. Ravi returns from abroad and takes up position as Chief Surgeon in a hospital. He then meets with Nurse Shanti, who lives an impoverished lifestyle with her ailing mother, and decides to perform surgery, but she passes away, and a guilt-ridden Ravi marries Shanti much to the chagrin of his mentor, Kaka, who had hoped that he would marry his daughter, Rajni. The couple then travel to Kashmir for their honey-moon, and then settle down to a harmonious relationship. Hoping to travel even more, their plans are interrupted by the hospital's head doctor, who wants Ravi to focus on cancer research. The couple drop all travel plans and immerse themselves in research so much so that Shanti herself becomes ill, and not wanting to become a burden, leaves. A frantic Ravi searches high and low in vain, and is subsequently devastated to learn that she has perished in a train accident.

Storyline

       Raja lives a poor lifestyle in a small village along with his mother, Shanta, sister, Sajju, and an alcoholic and gambler dad, Hariram, who abuses him physically and verbally as well as forces him to beg. Sajju sells toys (Firkis) for a living, but Hariram forces her to give him all the money. Shanta and Sajju encourage Raja to attend the local school, but Hariram tears up his schoolbooks and won't permit him to study. Raja likes to play with his friends and pretend to be the king. When Hariram witnesses this, he beats him up. Shortly thereafter Shanta and Sajju find out that Raja has lost his mind and really believes he is a king, and refuses to listen nor obey his elders anymore.

Storyline

  Sleepwalker Sita Raichand (Waheeda Rehman) is rescued by Ram (Manoj Kumar) while walking on a railway track. Shortly thereafter Guruji (David) and Mr. Raichand (Balraj Sahni), approach Ram's mom (Lalita Pawar) with a marriage proposal. Finding the proposal suitable both Ram and his mom agree, and as a result Ram and Sita are married. After the marriage, Sita displays very strange behaviour, like walking away during the night for long durations. This increases the suspicions of everyone in Ram's household. Ram subsequently finds out that there is a lot more to Sita's disappearance than sleepwalking, as Sita seems attracted to someone else from a previous birth.

Storyline

        Sunil lives with his mom and sister in a middle-class dwelling in Delhi, India. He works for Chopra & Co., Chartered Accountants. He comes across a beautiful woman posing for a painting, and thinks she is poor and needy, and gives her a tip. The woman's name is Anita, and both are attracted to each other. Sunil and Anita intend to marry, and Sunil even introduces Anita to his mom. One day when attending a party, Sunil is shocked to learn that Anita is a multi-millionaire. Stunned at this deception, he swears he will have nothing to do with her. When Anita attempts to sooth things over, Sunil does cool down. It is then he finds out that Anita's dad, who is serving time, had killed his father, and that Anita mother is still alive, after making her living as a former prostitute.
