Storyline

                 Diwan Bahadur Atal Rai lives a wealthy lifestyle in a mansion 'Gulistan' in Malabar Hills, Bombay, along with his wife, Malti, and two sons, Pavitra and Charitra. Pavitra was adopted while Charitra is his biological son. They are irresponsible, spoiled, Matric-failed, and refuse to do any work. They humiliate their father when he decides to get Charitra married to Shaila, the daughter of Advocate Vardhraj, and he asks them to leave. Shortly thereafter Charitra returns home claiming that he had a altercation with his Pavitra, and knifed him to death. Subsequently Police Inspector Madhusudan Apte, Pgets enough evidence to arrest Charitra. He is let go with a warning after admitting that this was a practical prank. Then Charitra goes on the run after the Mahabuleshwar Police find a dead body and identify it as that of Pavitra.

Storyline

            The story is on how by the misuse of ancient beliefs and customs, cheats and anti-national, international crooks cheat gullible un-educated people. Vinod Mehra is trying to unearth the purpose behind making the house haunted, as he suspects that it is being used for anti national activities. Bindu plays an investigating officer and the theme song "Aaja Reh" ,sung by the ghost rings a bell on criminal activities being perpetrated in the name of religion and marriages.

Storyline

     Job-hunting, on his way from Goa to Mahabuleshwar , Shekhar Kapoor ends up at Laila's Bar, is mistaken for a contract killer by Pratap Singh and Laila, and is instructed to kill Sonali, Pratap's niece. Shekhar fearfully accepts this contract, goes to meet Sonali, and tells her the truth. While returning home, he runs over a male, Madan, and takes him to a nearby hospital. It is here that he will find out the people who hired him to kill Sonia were not just Pratap and Laila but also the District Superintendent of Police and Agent Shekhar Amritsari of the Central Bureau of Investigation, and that soon he will be embroiled in a deadly game of lies and deceit where no one is who they claim to be.
